Jeremy…what is the freq of your crystal?
The Pixie uses a Colpitts. It’s usually the only part I can get to work on the first try.

Jeremy, you are the man! You -dare- to fly where others won’t even think about trying. Great job using the aluminum foil, duct tape and tin can buiding materials. I’m grinning from ear-to-ear. Sure it didn’t work, but that’s how you learn. At least you tried and best of all, you scrounged all the components. You will go far in your ham ‘career’. Best of luck with all your projects. 73…….Steve Smith WB6TNL “Snort Rosin”
