Thursday, September 20th, 2007

This afternoon I set out on my bike and I noticed that they are knocking down the house two buildings down! I had wondered why the front was boarded up; it turns out they are going to put up a small new condo building.. wow!

Condo Open House…

Sunday, July 8th, 2007

Today was the openhouse for my condo! We had 18 visitors from 11 parties; which was a pretty good turnout considering the hot weather and that it was following a holiday week. So far no offers so who knows.

On another note another one of bob’s claw caps fell off. Grr!!! It actually happened as I was finishing the previous post about them but I didn’t feel like editing it.

First showing of condo…. Business model seems to be working..

The condo was shown for the first time today; which is generally a good sign that we priced the thing reasonably. The Brookline area is rather competitive for 1 bedrooms, so anything under $300k is appealing. We priced it at $269k since it is a basement and I want to sell the thing. Fingers crossed! Open house this Sunday!

Also, my clients seem to be rather happy and that seems to be actually working, and it is encouraging enough to make me seriously consider developing a more formal web infrastructure. I want to close a few more clients to “prove” to myself that it works though..

My condo is on the market..

Tuesday, July 3rd, 2007

Well well, after years of thinking about selling the thing is actually ON the market now. My Emily helped me reorganize everything, and we cleaned cleaned cleaned. No clutter anywhere, and there is now an echo. The place looks really nice!! They took pics this morning, and in theory it is in the MLS listings now.

The other fun thing for the day is that Bob got softpaws, which are these little plastic caps that you superglue onto the cat’s claws. I never thought it would work, but he let us put them on pretty easily. This isn’t Bob, but I had to include a pic from their site because it cracks me up.
